NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). St. Francis and St. Joseph Adolescent Treatment Center (SFSJ) is partnering with Catholic Community Services to provide free mental health screenings and resources for health and wellness to families in the Philadelphia area. SFSJ will be on site at the annual Bundle Up Event sponsored by Catholic Community Services. There will be a winter coat and accessories give away along with entertainment including Santa Claus, DJ and snacks.

A new mural is coming to St Christopher's Hospital for Children along E Erie Ave! Join artist James Burns and Mural Arts Philadelphia for a community paint day. The Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Groups help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know, firsthand, how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The groups are open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. No pre-registration is required, but you are welcome to send an email to let us know that you might attend. The groups are free and confidential. |

UrStorytellers collaborates with the City Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS) to conduct a training session on storytelling.
