This is the 1st Autism Town Hall hosted by the Philadelphia Police Department, in partnership with the Center for Autism Research at CHOP, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, and Lighthouse. This event will be an annual event to bridge the connection between Law Enforcement/First responders and the Autism communities.

NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). El Taller Portorriqueno is hosting its first Philadelphia Suicide Prevention Task Force in collaboration with DBHIDS. The goal of this meeting is convene the community to share relevant updates and information, and elevate the importance of suicide prevention through advocacy and awareness. The Philadelphia Suicide Prevention Task Force (SPTF) convenes a diverse group of researchers, clinicians, behavioral health providers, community members, and individuals with lived experience. The SPTF acts as an advisory group that guides suicide prevention efforts through a collaborative, cross-systems approach.

Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group – 4th Tuesday
The Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Groups help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know, firsthand, how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The groups are open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. No pre-registration is required, but you are welcome to send an email to let us know that you might attend. The groups are free and confidential.
