Adolescent Support Group
NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). The group will be anticipated to be from 5 pm-6 pm but may extend to 6:30 pm depending on the session. Registration Link Permission Slip

“A Hope That Lights The Way” Documentary Screening
DBHIDS DEI Engaging Males of Color is hosting a virtual screening of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy Award winning documentary A Hope That Lights the Way (HTLW). This is a documentary film developed by Mayor Kenney’s Office of Black Male Engagement and released in the summer of 2023. This film, which DBHIDS Engaging Males of Color (EMOC) Coordinator Octavius Blount helped produce, addresses the issues of gun violence against men and boys of color in Philadelphia.
