Storytelling is a training facilitated by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4 hrs. in length, delivered in a PowerPoint format, and interactive activities enhance this training. After the conclusion of the training, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Storytelling es una capacitación facilitada por Ur Storytellers en colaboración con el Departamento de Salud del Comportamiento y Servicios de Discapacidad Intelectual de la Ciudad de Filadelfia (DBHIDS). Esta formación es una de las muchas que se aprueban como requisito previo obligatorio para los solicitantes que quieran perseguir el objetivo de convertirse en un especialista certificado entre pares. Nuestro objetivo es informar a las comunidades basadas en la recuperación y la fe sobre cómo compartir sus historias y la importancia de compartirlas en entornos comunitarios. Esta formación tendrá una duración de 4 horas, impartida en formato PowerPoint, y las actividades interactivas mejoran esta formación. Después de la conclusión de la capacitación, todos los participantes recibirán un certificado de finalización.
