This group meets twice a month (the first and third Thursday in the month) and is open to all people that have lost a loved one to substance use. There is no mandatory attendance and is a space dedicated to those looking for more support while navigating their grief.

Self Care Saturday is hosted by Phoenixville Hospital and Phoenixville Recreation Department. This FREE, all ages event offers local resources and services that promote positive mental health. We have activities and demonstrations planned to help reduce stress and keep your mind healthy! You can also visit our wellness room for treatments, learn about healthy food choices, visit with a pet rescue and connect with local community groups!

Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. This training, adapted to address Peer's particular needs while working remotely, is intended to support staff in developing and maintaining appropriate boundaries in service provision, and explore and clarify ethical dilemmas. Participants will explore power and privilege and how these differentials affect our work. Participants will practice assessing decisions about boundaries and dual relationships.
