The Bridge Way School, PA’s first and only recovery high school for youth on a recovery journey from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders based in NE Philadelphia, presents its inaugural exhibition of their Recovery Arts program at The Perch Music and Arts Workshop in Kensington. This exhibition features work from their spring artist-in-residence Larry Bodhuin as well as Bridge Way students.

This spring, our Recovery Arts program featured watercolor, exploration of identity, and garden learning. This event will feature their artwork, and students will offer tours of The Perch’s adjacent green sanctuary, Emerald Wildflower Garden.

This summer, Bridge Way students are participating in their first year of We Are Wildflowers, a summer recovery leadership program in partnership with Emerald Wildflower Garden and PRO-ACT’s FLYY program. Students are caring for the garden and supporting each other in recovery through workshops and programming designed by them. This exhibition is their first public We Are Wildflowers event! Come on out, enjoy art, lean into a recovery-focused atmosphere for youth, and support our students.

Light refreshments will be served.
*Youth age 14-23 who attend this event receive a $10 gift card; first come, first serve.
