This 8-hour course provides the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct CPS work with young adults. Its design incorporates young adult learning strategies and principles, promotes critical thinking, and self-directed and experiential learning to replicate the practice of recovery and peer support. This event is designed to celebrate our community and provide valuable resources to families in need. There will be a variety of activities for children of all ages, including face painting, raffles, vendor sales, and a dedicated activity area featuring engaging projects. Children's Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) will have a table full of resources, information, great giveaways, and team members ready to answer any questions regarding mental health services for children and families.
