Ur Storytellers Online Storytelling Training
Storytelling is a training facilitated by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Together (Helping Each other Align and Live) is a free six-week holistic rehabilitation program empowering young adults ages 18–35 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The program helps participants heal and strengthen the mind, body, soul, and spirit through guided discussions, mindfulness, and creative expression. Each session builds emotional resilience, self-mastery, and practical life skills to help participants move toward lasting stability, confidence, and purpose.
