Virtual Grief Support Group – All Arms Locked
Philly HEALs will be hosting a virtual support group for men who are experiencing grief from stigmatized loss. While we recognize that all grief can be difficult, when you lose a loved one in a stigmatized way, it can further impede the grieving process. Examples of stigmatized loss are losses due to overdose, addiction, homicide, or suicide. Ur Storytellers Online Storytelling Training
Storytelling is a training facilitated by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist.
