A day of Empowerment, Connection and Self-Care Join us for a FREE one-day conference at Temple University in Philadelphia with keynote speaker Poet and Advocate LeDerick Horne. Families will learn essential evidence-based tips to support a child’s development of skills like self-advocacy and self-determination. Families will also be given tools to elevate their own self-care and make connections to vital local organizations and resources.

Overdose Prevention and Reversal Training
*Trigger Warning*: This training involves detailed discussions of drug use, overdoses, and demonstrations on how to use Narcan. If you have any concerns, please feel free to email SUPHR staff at overdose.prevention@phila.gov This training provides background information and data on opioid use, Philadelphia's drug supply, and overdoses in our city. There is also a detailed description of how to recognize and respond to an opioid-related overdose with naloxone, or Narcan.
