LGBTQIA+ Youth of Color Listening Session
Mazzoni Center 1348 Bainbridge Street, Philadelphia, United StatesDBHIDS Community Based Initiatives team is proud to host an upcoming LGBTQIA+ Youth of Color listening session in partnership with the Mazzoni Center. This session aims to better understand the unique needs of LGBTQIA+ youth of color in Philadelphia, foster meaningful connections, and increase access to services. This session is for children and youth ages 14 to 24, and will create a brave space for youth to share their lived experiences, challenges, and aspirations, particularly around mental and behavioral health. The festival will be on Ben Franklin Parkway, stretching from 21st Street to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and will feature 3 stages of live entertainment and a full lineup of DJs spinning throughout the day. 200+ vendors, LGBTQ+-owned businesses and artists, food trucks, and more.
