DBHIDS and Community Behavioral Health are working together to host a Physicians Symposium on October 30th. The purpose of a Physicians Symposium is to reduce silos in treatment of substance use disorder and/or behavioral health and create pathways for connection between physicians, providers and people accessing treatment or services.

This event is aimed to adapt prevention, intervention, treatment, recovery and harm reduction services to meet the needs of people who use substances. Presentations should fall under the umbrella of emerging drug trends, the treatment continuum and/or medical, behavioral, or social practices.
