Ignite Your Insight: Food for Mood
The City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services is excited to launch a new virtual series: Ignite Your Insight. These one-hour, virtual monthly conversations will explore a range of mental health topics and will be led by our Education and Training Unit. The series kicks off with Food for Mood, where we will look at how different foods can affect your mental state and overall well-being. Overdose Prevention and Reversal Training
*Trigger Warning*: This training involves detailed discussions of drug use, overdoses, and demonstrations on how to use Narcan. If you have any concerns, please feel free to email SUPHR staff at overdose.prevention@phila.gov This training provides background information and data on opioid use, Philadelphia's drug supply, and overdoses in our city. There is also a detailed description of how to recognize and respond to an opioid-related overdose with naloxone, or Narcan.
