Philadelphia Police Autism Town Hall

Erie Ave., Philadelphia, United StatesThis is the 1st Autism Town Hall hosted by the Philadelphia Police Department, in partnership with the Center for Autism Research at CHOP, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, and Lighthouse. This event will be an annual event to bridge the connection between Law Enforcement/First responders and the Autism communities.

But it was his introduction to the blues sound that provided the musical construct from which he developed his own style.

Autism Panel Discussion: Living with Autism, Transitioning into School
Hear from several speakers with lived experience in children with autism transitioning to Kindergarten, or to any school. We’re pleased to welcome a parent of a child who recently transitioned, an individual with lived experience, and a representative from the School District.

Adolescent Support Group
NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). The group will be anticipated to be from 5 pm-6 pm but may extend to 6:30 pm depending on the session. Registration Link Permission Slip
