Overdose Prevention and Reversal Training
*Trigger Warning*: This training involves detailed discussions of drug use, overdoses, and demonstrations on how to use Narcan. If you have any concerns, please feel free to email SUPHR staff at overdose.prevention@phila.gov This training provides background information and data on opioid use, Philadelphia's drug supply, and overdoses in our city. There is also a detailed description of how to recognize and respond to an opioid-related overdose with naloxone, or Narcan. Adolescent Support Group
NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). Operation Bundle Up 2024
St. Martin of Tours Church 5450 Roosevelt BLVD, Philadelphia, United StatesSt. Francis and St. Joseph Adolescent Treatment Center (SFSJ) is partnering with Catholic Community Services to provide free mental health screenings and resources for health and wellness to families in the Philadelphia area. SFSJ will be on site at the annual Bundle Up Event sponsored by Catholic Community Services. There will be a winter coat and accessories give away along with entertainment including Santa Claus, DJ and snacks.
