Friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers walk side by side supporting each other and in memory of those we have lost to suicide. DBHIDS is an event sponsor, provides support staff, and creates a walk team each year to show our solidarity with the causes AFSP strives towards in our community every day.     Out of the Darkness Community Walk is the largest fundraising event yearly for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. AFSP is the largest non-profit fundraiser for suicide prevention research in the US, and provides free education, resources, and programming to the community every day.     Adolescent Support Group

    NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com).
