UrStorytellers Story Telling Training

Interact Family May Fair

That's why we're doing our part to bring the community together in our family strengthening efforts, to promote mental health awareness and link our local youth to safe, structured activities like summer camps, summer jobs, and apprenticeships. Supporting Youth Recovery CRS Training Program
Philadelphia Recovery Training Center (PRTC) 520 N. Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA, United StatesThe Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.

Featuring storytellers from Philadelphia sharing their lived experiences with gun violence and their shared search for hope with a vengeance, this documentary is a catalyst for immediate discussion. A talk back will occur directly after the viewing of the film. Merakey will be in attendance and will be providing Behavioral Health Screenings.

PCHC Health Fair 2023
