TJUH’s MATER Annual Behavioral Health Screening Event
Staff from TJUH's Family Center will have a table set up at the Jefferson Center for Mater's Second Annual Conference: Nothing About Us Without Us to provide behavioral health screenings for conference participants. Participants will be given mental health information, resources and referrals as needed based on the results of their screenings
Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training
Philadelphia Recovery Community Center 1701 W Lehigh Ave, PhiladelphiaStorytelling is a training facilitated by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings.
