Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Job Seekers will have the opportunity to hear from employees and formally interview. A portion of the job fair will be dedicated to questions, resume submission, interviews, and scheduling of future interviews. This will facilitate access to employment without the barriers that can sometimes exist in the traditional process. |
