CELEBRATE START OF SUMMER. The United for Safety Event aims to build community safety in the Philadelphia region by providing a space where community members, grassroots organizations, and community leaders can connect, share resources, and imagine a safer future. We will be hosting panel discussions, a resource fair, a free food truck and family fun as a means for our community to connect, advocate, engage, and ultimately unite. |

Come get ready for the start of summer with CADEKids! Come enjoy free food, soccer, cooking, community resource info and MORE! The event will be inside at the Community Center at Visitation (2646 Kensington Ave, Philadelphia, PA, 19125). There will be planned activities for students as well as resource tables with information for parents. Parent or guardian must attend with children. Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants seeking to become Certified Peer Specialists.
