The WELL.YES LGBT+ Student Symposium: Stigma to Strength is a transformative, one-day event designed to empower Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ youth aged 15-24. Developed by the WELL.YES Philadelphia Taskforce Community Advisory Board (CAB) in collaboration with community partners, this symposium aims to elevate young adult voices while directly addressing the stigma and health disparities disproportionately affecting LGBTQIA+ communities.

Feeding Your Soul

DBHIDS is addressing the social determinants of health with the “Feeding Your Soul” Wellness Resource Fair for the Spring/Summer and Fall 2025. DBHIDS “Feeding Your Soul” series focuses on reaching the community by “feeding” them and providing “behavioral wellness” resources. Through partnerships with the community as well as community-based agencies, DBHIDS continues to promote the health of Philadelphians by supporting individuals and families. The focus for 2025 will be on seniors/elderly community living in senior housing/assisted living facilities.

Experience the beauty of your neighborhood park, share a meal with your neighbors, and sing along to a screening of the cultural classic Sister Act 2. Everything’s on us—just bring a lawn chair or blanket, and we’ll take care of the rest.
