West Philly ECS Block Party
Episcopal Community Services (ECS) will host our 4th Annual Block Party at our West Philadelphia location, St. Barnabas Community Resource Center. We have a lot to celebrate this year, as we are moving our headquarters to St. Barnabas (60th and W. Girard) which enables us to better serve the Carroll Park and Haddington communities. We are also announcing the formation of our new Neighborhood Advisory Committee (NAC) and the official launch of our street cleaning initiative with Glitter. CGRC’s United For Safety
CELEBRATE START OF SUMMER. The United for Safety Event aims to build community safety in the Philadelphia region by providing a space where community members, grassroots organizations, and community leaders can connect, share resources, and imagine a safer future. We will be hosting panel discussions, a resource fair, a free food truck and family fun as a means for our community to connect, advocate, engage, and ultimately unite.
Delco Pride Parade
The parade will feature a procession of participants, community groups, non-profits, and performers, showcasing a wide range of identities and sexualities. You can expect to see rainbow flags, costumes, banners, music, performers, and dance, as well as informational materials and advocacy efforts from various LGBTQQIA+ organizations and allies across our region. Join us and hundreds of other community members as we celebrate and stand up for our community!
