Senior Expo in the Second Senate District
In collaboration w State Senator Christine Tartaglione, the Second Second District will be launching the Senior Expo to empower the Older constituents in the 2nd District by providing them with information about issues that are important to them and the services that are available through an aide range of public and private providers, Historically, hundreds of seniors and their caregivers attend these events and are grateful for the information and help they receive.
Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training
Philadelphia Recovery Community Center 1701 W. Lehigh Ave, PhiladelphiaStorytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings.
