The Engaging Women and Girls of Color (EWGOC) Virtual Wellness Series are a quarterly online event that provides a safe, supportive space for connection, learning, and resource sharing. Our second session focuses on Human Trafficking Awareness, Wellness and Access to Care, a critical issue that disproportionately affects women and girls of color in Philadelphia and is especially important to address as the city prepares for major events like the 250th anniversary and the FIFA World Cup, which can heighten vulnerability.

This session will explore human trafficking as a human rights violation and highlight its connection to mental and behavioral health, recognizing the emotional, psychological, and social impacts that can shape overall well‑being and long‑term healing. Participants will gain tools for prevention, support, and advocacy while engaging with experts and community resources that promote safety, resilience, and equity. All community members, advocates, and professionals committed to health equity are encouraged to join.
