21st Annual Phila. AFSP Out of the Darkness Community Walk
October 5 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
| FreeJoin thousands of community members for the Greater Philadelphia Out of the Darkness Community Walk, a powerful gathering that brings hope to those affected by suicide and raises awareness about mental health. Hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), this event unites families, friends, colleagues, and neighbors with a shared mission: to save lives and bring hope to those impacted by suicide.
Together, we’ll honor loved ones lost, support those who struggle, and raise funds for AFSP’s critical research, education, advocacy, and survivor support programs. The day will include moving personal stories, opportunities to connect with local resources, and moments to reflect and heal.
Why We Walk:
To honor and remember those we have lost
To support those struggling and their loved ones
To raise awareness and fight stigma around mental health
To fund prevention programs and research that save lives
