Merakey Mental Health Walk-in Clinic
The Merakey Mental Health Walk-In Clinic is Philadelphia’s first behavioral health urgent care designed to provide same-day, non-emergency mental health services to adults. The clinic is open to everyone age 18 or over, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay.

The clinic is steps away from Broad Street and Allegheny Avenue in North Philadelphia, and easily accessible from the Broad Street subway and bus routes 60, 4, and 16. North Philadelphia Station, less than a quarter-mile south, provides access to SEPTA regional rail and Amtrak rail.
Mental Health Assessment
Same-day evaluations to assess immediate mental health needs and concerns.
Crisis De-escalation and Stabilization
Services to manage acute mental health symptoms and prevent escalation into crisis.
Medication Support
Assistance with medication issues including short-term prescriptions.
Care Coordination
Guidance and referrals to appropriate ongoing mental health services, community resources, or follow-up care providers.
Substance Use Support
Assessments and referrals for individuals dealing with substance use concerns.
Peer Support
Compassionate care provided by staff with lived experience in managing mental health challenges.
