Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training
Philadelphia Recovery Community Center (PRCC) 1701 W. Lehigh Ave., Philadelphia, United StatesStorytelling is a training facilitated by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This free event will host vendors from across the city, such as Daddy University, Fidelity Homecare, Visionlink, Doula Services, and many more! There will also be family friendly activities, such as a visit from the Fire Department, and lots of giveaways! Come on down!
