    Conscious Queens is an annual educational workshop promoting wellness for girls of color. It is a collaboration of partners, students, and community members throughout the city and the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS). Multiple community organizations will attend to share wellness techniques to educate young Black girls on how to be physically and emotionally well. Conscious Queens introduces participants to a healthier lifestyle and mindset. Conscious Queens launched in 2022 in response to ongoing gun violence in neighborhoods within Philadelphia.     The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.
