    DBHIDS Certified Peer Specialist Virtual Information Session Join us July 31 from 9:45 a.m. to noon to learn more about Certified Peer Specialist training and state requirements, program overview, Mental Health Partnerships, and volunteer opportunities. Certified Peer Specialists (CPS) identify as having behavioral health challenges (mental health and/or substance use). A CPS supports others in their recovery process. This relationship between peers is one of mutual trust and respect moving toward a more meaningful life in recovery.

    Adolescent Support Group

    NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). The group will be anticipated to be from 5 pm-6 pm but may extend to 6:30 pm depending on the session. Registration Link Permission Slip

    Parent/Caregiver Support Group

    Support Group facilitated by a licensed therapist. This group is designed to meet the needs of Parents and Caregivers of those with mental health, behavioral health and substance use challenges who are aged 14 and over. Meets the first Thursday of every month on Zoom.

    The "Women Elevating Women" event is a free community gathering designed to empower and support women in prioritizing their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This even offers a variety of activities, including workshops, and discussions focused on self-care practices and personal development. The goal is to create a supportive and nurturing environment where women can come together to learn, connect, and uplift each other. PMHC will participate in the event providing Behavioral Health Screenings and Resources for well-being.
