Virtual Grief Support Group – All Arms Locked
Philly HEALs will be hosting a virtual support group for men who are experiencing grief from stigmatized loss. While we recognize that all grief can be difficult, when you lose a loved one in a stigmatized way, it can further impede the grieving process. Examples of stigmatized loss are losses due to overdose, addiction, homicide, or suicide. This 2-day free virtual summit (10/15, 10/16) Men, Masculinities & Violence Prevention will explore the impact of societal gender norms on efforts men and masculine people to prevent relational violence, how gender norms impact men and masculine people themselves, and where we need to go collectively to build communities without intimate partner and relational violence. Attendees can register for the two-day summit and attend any sessions they are interested in attending.
