Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group – 4th Tuesday
Virtual - Zoom , United StatesThe Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Groups help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know, firsthand, how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The groups are open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. No pre-registration is required, but you are welcome to send an email to let us know that you might attend. The groups are free and confidential.

Adolescent Support Group
NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). We will be doing panel discussions on drug abuse, violence and discrimination towards LGBTQI people. Trans youth issues, homelessness, education, etc. This event aims to network, educate, and provide health, mental illness, and HIV prevention information to the events attendees. Support Group facilitated by a licensed therapist. This group is designed to meet the needs of Parents and Caregivers of those with mental health, behavioral health and substance use challenges who are aged 14 and over. Meets the first Thursday of every month on Zoom.

This group meets twice a month (the first and third Thursday in the month) and is open to all people that have lost a loved one to substance use. There is no mandatory attendance and is a space dedicated to those looking for more support while navigating their grief.
