Summer Meals Kick-off Celebration
The Office of Children and Families, Parks & Recreation, and American Dairy Association Northeast are hosting a Summer Meals Kick-off Celebration on Tues. 6/18 from 11 am – 1 pm at Heitzman Recreation Center (2136 Castor Ave. Philadelphia, 19134). The event will include activities, games, and resources for children and families as well as special guest appearances. Free summer meals for youth will be served starting at 12 pm with a press event to immediately follow.

Juneteenth Block Party
African American Museum in Philadelphia 701 Arch Street, Philadelphia, United StatesJoin AAMP as we continue the legacy of Juneteenth and celebrate our 48th anniversary as one of the first institutions funded and built by a major municipality to preserve, interpret, and exhibit the heritage of African Americans. In partnership with Wawa and Welcome America, AAMP will host an all-day, family-friendly outdoor festival with several hosts from W.U.R.D. Adolescent Support Group
NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). Overdose Prevention and Reversal Training
*Trigger Warning*: This training involves detailed discussions of drug use, overdoses, and demonstrations on how to use Narcan. If you have any concerns, please feel free to email SUPHR staff at overdose.prevention@phila.gov This training provides background information and data on opioid use, Philadelphia's drug supply, and overdoses in our city.
