El taller Protorriqueno 2600 N 5th Street, Philadelphia, United StatesEl Taller Portorriqueno is hosting its first Philadelphia Suicide Prevention Task Force in collaboration with DBHIDS. The goal of this meeting is convene the community to share relevant updates and information, and elevate the importance of suicide prevention through advocacy and awareness. The Philadelphia Suicide Prevention Task Force (SPTF) convenes a diverse group of researchers, clinicians, behavioral health providers, community members, and individuals with lived experience. Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group – 2nd Wednesday
Virtual - Zoom , United StatesThe Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Groups help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know, firsthand, how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The groups are open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. No pre-registration is required, but you are welcome to send an email to let us know that you might attend. Drop-In Grief Support Group (Virtual)
This group meets twice a month (the first and third Thursday in the month) and is open to all people that have lost a loved one to substance use. There is no mandatory attendance and is a space dedicated to those looking for more support while navigating their grief.
