    El Taller Portorriqueno is hosting its first Philadelphia Suicide Prevention Task Force in collaboration with DBHIDS. The goal of this meeting is convene the community to share relevant updates and information, and elevate the importance of suicide prevention through advocacy and awareness. The Philadelphia Suicide Prevention Task Force (SPTF) convenes a diverse group of researchers, clinicians, behavioral health providers, community members, and individuals with lived experience. The SPTF acts as an advisory group that guides suicide prevention efforts through a collaborative, cross-systems approach.

    The Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Groups help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know, firsthand, how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The groups are open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. No pre-registration is required, but you are welcome to send an email to let us know that you might attend.
