Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group – 4th Tuesday
Virtual - Zoom , United StatesThe Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Groups help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know, firsthand, how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The groups are open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. No pre-registration is required, but you are welcome to send an email to let us know that you might attend. The groups are free and confidential.

Overdose Prevention and Reversal Training
*Trigger Warning*: This training involves detailed discussions of drug use, overdoses, and demonstrations on how to use Narcan. If you have any concerns, please feel free to email SUPHR staff at overdose.prevention@phila.gov This training provides background information and data on opioid use, Philadelphia's drug supply, and overdoses in our city. There is also a detailed description of how to recognize and respond to an opioid-related overdose with naloxone, or Narcan. DBHIDS “Feeding Your Soul” series focuses on reaching the community by “feeding” them and providing “behavioral wellness” resources. Through partnerships with the community as well as community-based agencies, DBHIDS continues to promote the health of Philadelphians by supporting individuals and families. The focus for 2025 will be on seniors/elderly community living in senior housing/assisted living facilities.
