Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group – 2nd Wednesday
Virtual - Zoom , United StatesThe Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Groups help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know, firsthand, how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The groups are open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. No pre-registration is required, but you are welcome to send an email to let us know that you might attend. Ignite Your Insight: Food for Mood
The City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services is excited to launch a new virtual series: Ignite Your Insight. These one-hour, virtual monthly conversations will explore a range of mental health topics and will be led by our Education and Training Unit. The series kicks off with Food for Mood, where we will look at how different foods can affect your mental state and overall well-being. Philly HEALs will be hosting a virtual support group for men who are experiencing grief from stigmatized loss. While we recognize that all grief can be difficult, when you lose a loved one in a stigmatized way, it can further impede the grieving process.
