    The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.

    KenCCID (Kensington Community Corporation for Individual Dignity) and Sharing Excess will be co-hosting a free food pop-up from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. The pop-up event will be held in the parking lot of KenCCID’s headquarters at 9350 Ashton Road in Northeast Philadelphia. All residents of the greater Philadelphia area who may be experiencing food security issues, or who have neighbors or friends with food security issues, are welcome to pick up free fresh produce, snacks, and more.
