Supporting Youth Recovery CRS Training Program
Philadelphia Recovery Training Center (PRTC) 520 N. Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA, United StatesThe Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.

Certified Peer Specialist Training
Mental Health Partnernships Offices 1211 Chestnut Street, 10th Floor, Philadelphia, PA, United StatesFOR PHILADELPHIA RESIDENTS ONLY The Certified Peer Specialist Training is designed to provide learners with foundational knowledge and skills for working as professional providers of Peer Support. Successful completion of this training will result in eligibility to take the state certification exam (through the PA Certification Board). DBHIDS sponsored This training will be delivered live and in-person from Monday, March 13, 2023 - Friday, March 24, 2023, excluding the weekend, from 9:00am-5:00pm. The pop-up event will be held in the parking lot of KenCCID’s headquarters at 9350 Ashton Road in Northeast Philadelphia.
