Adolescent Support Group
NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). The group will be anticipated to be from 5 pm-6 pm but may extend to 6:30 pm depending on the session. Registration Link Permission Slip

CBS Back to School Block Party
Cognitive Behavioral Services 555 W Glenwood Ave, Philadelphia, United StatesCognitive Behavioral Services is hosting a Back-to-School Block Party and Mental Health Screening Day, a community event designed to support families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. The event will provide free food bounce house for children, and the distribution of backpacks filled with school supplies. Additionally, the day will focus on promoting mental health awareness by offering free mental health screenings to the community. This event aims to create a fun, supportive environment where families can gather, enjoy activities, and access important resources.
