Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training

This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Take Back the Night
First Unitarian Church 2125 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, United StatesThis event raises awareness and provides community support around sexual, domestic, and interpersonal violence. The event begins at 5:30pm with a march (from 36th and Chestnut) to the First Unitarian church. Once there, there will be a myth busting street action, candlelight vigil, storytelling, performances, networking and resource tables, food and refreshments. This is an incredibly powerful event, and all survivors and supporter are welcome to attend. Wedge will be providing Behavioral Health screenings
PCCI Virtual Job Fair
Job seekers will have the opportunity to hear from employers and formally interview. A portion of the job fair will be dedicated to questions, resume submission, interviews, and scheduling of future interviews. This will facilitate access to employment without the barriers that can sometimes exist in the traditional process.

Delco Pride Parade
The parade will feature a procession of participants, community groups, non-profits, and performers, showcasing a wide range of identities and sexualities. You can expect to see rainbow flags, costumes, banners, music, performers, and dance, as well as informational materials and advocacy efforts from various LGBTQQIA+ organizations and allies across our region. Join us and hundreds of other community members as we celebrate and stand up for our community!
