Storytelling is a training facilitated by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. The City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services is excited to launch a new virtual series: Ignite Your Insight. These one-hour, virtual monthly conversations will explore a range of mental health topics and will be led by our Education and Training Unit. The series kicks off with Food for Mood, where we will look at how different foods can affect your mental state and overall well-being.
