Storytelling is a training facilitated by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many approved as a required prerequisite for applicants seeking to become a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4 hrs. in length, delivered in a PowerPoint format, with interactive activities. After the conclusion of the training, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.
