ORN Regional Summit: Xylazine

Take Back the Night
First Unitarian Church 2125 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, United StatesThis event raises awareness and provides community support around sexual, domestic, and interpersonal violence. The event begins at 6pm with a march (from 36th and Chestnut) to the First Unitarian church. Once there, there is a “Busting the Myths” street action to increase education around these issues and the importance of consent. After this there is an open speak out session where survivors and supporters are able to break the silence that often follows these experiences. This year’s theme is “Healing from the Hurt with trauma informed care”. The Faith and Spiritual Affairs 2023 conference will focus on ways to motivate, equip, and heal from all the trauma and violence we experience as a city (or community). We will have workshops, testimonials, speakers, and resources to offer guidance, healing opportunities and emotional wellness.

Hands Around City Hall
Philadelphia City Hall Courtyard 1400 John F Kennedy Blvd., Philadelphia, PA, United StatesHelp us close out Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) by forming a human chain around City Hall by joining hands in a moment of silence as we honor the many people who have experienced sexual assault, harassment, or abuse.
