    The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.

    Join EMOC for a special screening of the film, “Trigger,” which focuses on the personal stories of those impacted by the traumas of gun violence. Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) will providing Behavioral Health screenings for the event.

    Caring for a child with behavioral health needs can be demanding. Take a break. Respite care is short-term care for children ages 6-17. Children with a behavioral health diagnosis are eligible for short-term care.
