Supporting Youth Recovery CRS Training Program
Philadelphia Recovery Training Center (PRTC) 520 N. Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA, United StatesThe Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.

Engaging Males of Color (EMOC) Film Screening: Trigger
Paul Roberson High School 4125 Ludlow Street, Philadelphia, PA, United StatesJoin EMOC for a special screening of the film, “Trigger,” which focuses on the personal stories of those impacted by the traumas of gun violence. Joseph J. Peters Institute (JJPI) will providing Behavioral Health screenings for the event.

Respite care is short-term care for children ages 6-17. Children with a behavioral health diagnosis are eligible for short-term care.
