Community Councils’ Community Event
Family Matters 4900 Wyalusing Ave, Philadelphia, United StatesCCHS will host our annual “Community Day.” It is important that we continue to celebrate the caregivers and provide support and encouragement to our families and the community while focusing on mental wellness. There will be: - free resources -bouncy houses -raffles & prizes -food truck -local vendors -music -free book bags and back-to-school supplies -free mental health screenings -job fair with on-site interviews Community Council Health System will provide behavioral health screenings.

Overdose Prevention and Reversal Training
*Trigger Warning*: This training involves detailed discussions of drug use, overdoses, and demonstrations on how to use Narcan. If you have any concerns, please feel free to email SUPHR staff at overdose.prevention@phila.gov This training provides background information and data on opioid use, Philadelphia's drug supply, and overdoses in our city. There is also a detailed description of how to recognize and respond to an opioid-related overdose with naloxone, or Narcan. Online , United StatesThe Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group is a group to help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know firsthand how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide.
