Take Back the Night
First Unitarian Church 2125 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, United StatesThis event raises awareness and provides community support around sexual, domestic, and interpersonal violence. The event begins at 6pm with a march (from 36th and Chestnut) to the First Unitarian church. Once there, there is a “Busting the Myths” street action to increase education around these issues and the importance of consent. After this there is an open speak out session where survivors and supporters are able to break the silence that often follows these experiences.
