Supporting Youth Recovery CRS Training Program
Philadelphia Recovery Training Center (PRTC) 520 N. Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA, United StatesThe Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.

UrStorytellers Storytelling Training
ENON Tabernacle Baptist Church 2800 Cheltenham Ave., Philadelphia, PA, United StatesStorytelling is a training that is facilitate by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services. This is one of many training that has been approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue goals of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist.

UrStorytellers Story Telling Training
Mount Zion Baptist Church 1411 South 50th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19143, Philadelphia, PA, United StatesStorytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many approved prerequisites for applicants who want to become Certified Peer Specialists. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and the importance of sharing them in community settings.
