Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training
Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that is approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to become a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4hrs. Omega Psi Phi in partnership with DBHIDS will sponsor the film screening of Trigger. This film shares the stories and personal narratives of people dealing with the traumas of gun violence in Philadelphia. Featuring youth, a high school principal, victims, activists and first responders. Behavioral Health screenings will be avalaible
