Project Alpha/Project AKA
The program is for teens 13 yrs. old-17 yrs. old. The program explores sexual health, healthy relationships, self- confidence, self-respect and positive imaging. This year's theme is "ARE YOU GOOD".
Unity in the Community
Presented by the Philadelphia Sheriff's office, Unity in the Community is a resource and food giveaway event with fre food, entertainment, resource tables and giveaways. Philadelphia Fight is partnering in this event and will be providing free Behavioral Health Screening and resources for well-being.
Senior Summit: Seniors Count
To empower Senior Citizens through exposure to governmental agencies, non-profits, medical and mental health agencies, and care-giving agencies that can help them to manage the intricacies of their lives. Participants can engage in breakout sessions on mental health, diabetes, hypertension, and other health issues. There will be information employment, housing, life insurance, wills, and estates, nutrition, and diet and more. There will be healthy refreshments. Behavioral Health Wellness will be onsite and will provide free behavioral health screenings and resources for well-being
CST & BHTEN 2nd Annual Community Event
This resource event will provide helpful information regarding behavioral health services, the opioid crisis and family support in a community setting with free food, fun, and facts! The Children's Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) will be present with resources and information regarding the behavioral health services provided to children and families. CCTC will have staff present who will be able to complete behavioral health screenings for interested children and families. CCTC will be providing nice giveaways to attendees. South Philly Community Health Fair
With the Public Health Emergency coming to an end, we want to make sure that our South Philadelphia community members have access to the support they need. We will bring together the many amazing groups in the area who provide these health resources and information. We will have free screenings, education, information, and giveaways to the community during this exciting event. Latino Wellness Festival and Screening Event
Music/Games/Vendors/Screenings/Food Trucks/Resources and much more for the community. This event is designed to promote personal wellness within the Latino community and will feature a variety of activities including food trucks, music, vendors, children's games, face painting, mental health, behavioral issue, and clinical lab resources. It's a day filled with family fun and an opportunity to learn about important resources available to support your overall wellbeing. Join us as we provide activities, food and resources in support of Children's Mental Health. Temple Behavioral Health will also participate and will provide Behavioral Health Screenings and well being resources for parents and adults.
