This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). On May 15, hundreds of mental health advocates will march at the State Capitol building to call on lawmakers to invest more funding into mental health resources and professionals across the Commonwealth. The rally will include speeches from mental health leaders such as Representative Mike Schlossberg and former Deputy Secretary Joan Erney. The rally will convene on the steps of the Capitol building at 1pm on Wednesday, May 15th. We are encouraging our partners and stakeholders to attend the rally.
