    We will be honoring Dr. Martin Luther King this year with an event highlighting the health disparities that exist within the community at large. We will engage vendors in the areas of nutrition, physical and mental health to assist in informing the community of the disparities that exist and how to mitigate the damage that it causes. Einstein Behavioral Health will be joining and will be providing behavioral health screenings.

    The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.
